T4B Ltd., in consortium with Damovo Ltd., signed a contract with the Customs Office in Opole for the expansion of the communication system – compatible with the integrated communication system in the customs administration.
The contract included the development and delivery of project documentation – system architecture designs, technical designs for all locations, and the Project Quality Plan – as well as post-implementation and user documentation.
To fulfill the contract, it was necessary to create, deliver, install, and implement dedicated software for the systems. The project also involved the expansion, installation, and configuration of hardware and software components of the existing communication infrastructure, as well as the delivery of mobile communication devices with a dedicated access application installed in the currently used Customs IT systems.
The contract also included the delivery of IT equipment necessary for the system’s operation, including servers, workstations, and LAN/WAN components.
The newly installed system was integrated with the elements of the existing hardware and software infrastructure used by the Customs Office, its branches, and the Customs Service.
T4B Ltd. also conducted training for system administrators, operators, and users.
The project was completed at the end of 2011.
