Status: Completed
Project: Development of the Location and Information Platform (PLI-CBD)
Client: Office of Electronic Communications (UKE)
Contractor: T4B Sp. z o.o. (lead contractor) in consortium with Qumak SA
Scope of work:
• The PLI-CBD (Location and Information Platform with Central Database) was integrated with the 112 Emergency System developed by the Ministry of Interior and Administration, allowing for quick identification of the location from which emergency calls are made.
• For landline calls, this includes the address of the network terminal, while for mobile calls to any emergency number (997, 998, 999, 112), the geographic data of the device is transmitted to the 112 system.
• This system enables emergency services (ambulance, fire brigade, police, and other rescue units) to automatically receive location information in critical situations, speeding up the response and saving lives.
• The platform also serves as a central database for transferred numbers, improving the process of number portability between networks.
