EURO 2012 – REDEVELOPMENT OF THE KORCZOWA BORDER CROSSING

Additional information:
Preparations for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament in Poland led to the implementation of various infrastructure projects, including the expansion of the Poland-Ukraine border crossing at Korczowa.

This project, with an investment of nearly 20 million PLN, was carried out by T4B in partnership with Warbud SA. The work involved the design and execution of several telecommunication and electrical systems.

T4B, under contract from the main contractor, designed and implemented telecommunication installations, including the supply of materials and equipment for the following systems:

  1. Intrusion and robbery alarm system
  2. Access control system
  3. Digital surveillance (CCTV) system
  4. Traffic management system
  5. License Plate Recognition system (OCR)
  6. Fire alarm system
  7. Integration system
  8. Telecommunication ducting with connections to facilities
  9. Structured cabling with active devices
  10. Expansion of the communication system

Additionally, electrical installations were carried out, including power ducting, area lighting, redevelopment of the TRAFO station, and internal electrical installations within the buildings.

The project was completed in the second half of 2013.
