LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION SYSTEM FOR THE CUSTOMS CHAMBER INSZCZECIN

Project: Implementation and installation of the Automatic License Plate Recognition System (ALPR).
Client: Customs Chamber in Szczecin
Scope of work:
• Design, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the ALPR system at designated locations
• Conducting training sessions on system operation
• Providing advisory and technical assistance to Customs Chamber staff.

Additional information:
The system automatically reads and recognizes the license plates of all vehicles and container codes moving through monitored traffic routes and registers them with accompanying photographs. The system supports customs operations by identifying vehicles or containers previously flagged as restricted or wanted by customs or other state services, issuing an alert when detected.
T4B, in consortium with Biatel BIT, implemented and installed the ALPR system for the Customs Chamber in Szczecin.
The project involved the delivery, installation, and commissioning of the system at designated sites, as well as conducting training sessions on system use. Following the project’s completion, T4B provided advisory and technical assistance to Customs Chamber staff in Szczecin.
The work was completed at the end of 2011.
