Road Border Crossing in Korczowa
The Warbud–T4B consortium carried out construction works at the Road Border Crossing in Korczowa. T4B’s task was to execute electrical and ICT installations.
Scope of work:
T4B designed and executed ICT installations together with the supply of materials and equipment. The following systems were installed:
- Intruder Alarm System (SSWiN),
- Access Control System,
- Digital CCTV system,
- Traffic Management System,
- Licence Plate Recognition System – OCR,
- Fire Alarm System,
- Structured cabling together with active devices,
- Expansion of the communications system,
- Integrating System,
- Telecom ducting together with service connections to individual facilities.
As part of the electrical installations, together with design and supply of materials, the following were executed:
- power ducting together with service connections to individual facilities,
- site/outdoor lighting,
- reconstruction of the transformer substation (TRAFO),
- internal electrical installations within the facilities.
The works continued until May 2012.
Euro 2012
Preparations for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship in Poland contributed to the implementation of many projects in the country; one such project was the expansion of the Polish-Ukrainian border crossing in Korczowa. The investment amounted to nearly PLN 20 million. T4B, in a consortium with Warbud S.A., carried out a range of ICT and electrical works.
Under this contract, commissioned by the General Contractor, T4B designed and executed ICT installations together with the supply of materials and equipment:
- Intruder Alarm System,
- Access Control System,
- Digital CCTV system,
- Traffic Management System,
- Licence Plate Recognition System – OCR,
- Fire Alarm System,
- Integrating System,
- Telecom ducting together with service connections to individual facilities,
- Structured cabling together with active devices,
- Expansion of the communications system.
As well as electrical installations, including power ducting, site lighting, reconstruction of the transformer substation (TRAFO), and internal electrical installations within the facilities.
The works were completed in the second half of 2013.
