Customs Chamber in Opole – expansion of the communications system
T4B Sp. z o.o., in a consortium with Damovo Sp. z o.o., signed a contract with the Customs Chamber in Opole for the expansion of the communications system – compatible with the integrated communications system in the customs administration.
The contract covered the development and delivery of design documentation – architecture designs of the ordered System, technical designs for all locations, the Project Quality Plan – as well as as-built and user documentation.
Scope of work:
- development and delivery of design documentation – architecture designs of the ordered System, technical designs for all locations, Project Quality Plan,
- development and delivery of as-built and user documentation,
- creation, delivery, installation and implementation of dedicated software for the given Systems,
- expansion, installation and configuration of hardware and software components of the technical infrastructure of the existing communications system,
- delivery of mobile communications devices together with the installation of a dedicated access application in the IT Systems currently used by the Customs Service,
- delivery of IT equipment necessary to launch the System, including servers, workstations and LAN/WAN elements,
- integration of the new system with the existing hardware-software infrastructure used in the Chamber, Branches and the Customs Office,
- training of System administrators as well as operators and users.
To fulfil the contract assumptions, it was necessary to create, deliver, install and implement dedicated software for the given Systems. The scope also included the expansion, installation and configuration of hardware and software components of the technical infrastructure of the existing communications system, as well as the delivery of mobile communications devices together with the installation of a dedicated access application in the IT Systems currently used by the Customs Service.
The contract further provided for the delivery of IT equipment necessary to launch the System, including servers, workstations and LAN/WAN elements.
The newly installed System was integrated with elements of the already existing hardware-software infrastructure used so far in the Chamber, Branches and the Customs Office.
T4B also conducted training for System administrators as well as operators and users.
The works were completed at the end of 2011.
