Warsaw Railway Junction – comprehensive public safety system
T4B was the contractor for one of the capital’s key infrastructure security projects: the design and deployment of an integrated security system across the Warsaw Railway Junction (WWK).
The investment for Polish State Railways (PKP) was carried out by a consortium of T4B (leader) and PHU Altech Adam Wyszyński.
Delivered in a “design & build” formula, the project aimed to create a centrally managed technical security system that increases the safety of passengers, staff, and rail infrastructure at Poland’s largest transport hub.

The cross-city tunnel and other key elements of the capital’s rail infrastructure
Scope of work included:
Physical security systems integrated within a PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) platform, including:
IP video surveillance (CCTV) – compliant with current standards and regulations,
Access Control System (ACS/SKD) – managing movement of people in protected zones,
Intrusion and Hold-up Alarm System (SSWiN) – real-time threat detection,
Radiation measurement system – installation of radioactivity detection devices,
Fire safety system – integration with PSIM at the Railway Stations Security Center (CBK), enabling data and signal aggregation from multiple sources,
Modernization and fit-out of CBK duty rooms and server rooms – per Functional-and-Utility Program guidelines.
User training – including SCORM e-learning modules, ensuring on-demand access to training materials.
Preparation and implementation of security procedures – PSIM implementation with updates to existing protection plans, aligned to new system functionalities.
Modern PSIM platform – one command center
The PSIM system is the key component of the solution—it aggregates data from multiple independent systems (CCTV, ACS/SKD, SSWiN, radiation detectors, fire alarm), enabling swift analysis, response, and decision-making in line with established procedures. This ensures effective crisis management, prevention, and operational continuity at station facilities.
The delivery for the Warsaw Railway Junction is further proof of T4B’s competence in integrated security systems for critical infrastructure. T4B’s solutions address the real needs of major transport and public-infrastructure operators—both in Poland and internationally.
