Digital Border – a comprehensive solution for the security and efficiency of border crossings
T4B delivered an end-to-end project to build and deploy the Digital Border system—one of the Ministry of Finance’s most important IT initiatives, part of the Electronic Services Platform for Tax and Customs (PUESC).
A modern tool for border and customs administration
The project’s goal was to create an integrated system supporting the management and handling of border traffic—goods and passengers—across road, maritime, and rail channels.
T4B was responsible for the design, execution, delivery, deployment, and maintenance of all Digital Border (CG)environments, together with dedicated IT infrastructure and technical support.
Scope of work delivered:
Design, build, and deployment of CG system environments
Delivery, assembly, installation, and configuration of IT hardware—including the Local Layer Hardware Platform
Preparation of full design, user, and as-built documentation
User training
Warranty services, continuous development, and ongoing technical support
Graphic visualizations of border-traffic service modules—road, maritime (ferry and container), and passenger
EU-funded digitization support
The project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under Action 2.1 of the Operational Programme Digital Poland, as part of a broader strategy to digitize public services and automate tax-and-customs procedures.
Mobile containerized control points
A solution designed for flexible adaptation to the needs of security services and military units – regardless of the country of operation, climatic conditions, or the availability of technical infrastructure.
Mobile, containerized control points enable effective management of both passenger and cargo traffic, detection of threats, and response to crisis situations – including hybrid threats, human and goods trafficking, and mass refugee movements. Infrastructure standardization ensures efficient technical maintenance and effective management at both national and operational levels.
