Kuźnica Białostocka Rail Border Crossing – Schengen Requirements
T4B (leader), in a consortium with MERX Sp. z o.o. and PKP Energetyka S.A., commissioned by the Podlaskie Voivodeship Office in Białystok, executed—under a design-and-build system—the task titled: “Adaptation of the rail border crossing in Kuźnica Białostocka to the requirements of the Schengen Agreement, Stage I – Infrastructure.”
Scope of works:
- design and execution of a monitoring system for special supervision areas (including monitoring of the station area and inspection roads from the level crossing to the State border),
- design and construction of a container-based facilities area for the Border Guard,
- relocation of the radioactive contamination detection gate to a more distant location,
- implementation of the project’s promotional activities.
Under this contract, T4B designed and executed the monitoring system for special supervision areas (including monitoring of the station area and inspection roads from the level crossing to the State border). The contract also covered the design and construction of container-based facilities for the Border Guard, the relocation of the radioactive contamination detection gate to a more distant location, and the implementation of the project’s promotional activities.
