Suburban Railway Station in Gdynia Reopened!
The project, implemented on behalf of the Voivodeship Roads Authority in Olsztyn, aims to support the digitalisation of transport and improve road traffic safety across the entire region.
As part of the implementation, a modern system will be developed to provide all road users with real-time information on the situation on voivodeship roads.
The Dynamic Road Information System will be implemented on voivodeship roads throughout the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and will serve as a central information platform, integrating data on road infrastructure, driving conditions, road incidents, and current threats.
The project directly aligns with the objectives of the European Funds for Warmia and Mazury 2021–2027 programme, and its implementation supports the development of sustainable, intelligent, and climate-resilient mobility, in line with the region’s strategic documents.
The platform will be used by:
The system will be designed with digital accessibility in mind, taking into account the needs of people with disabilities, seniors, and users with limited mobility.
1. Information on driving conditions
This service will enable users to obtain a detailed report on driving conditions along a selected route of voivodeship roads. After logging in with a trusted profile, the user will define the route and receive an automatically generated report including, among other things, road parameters, disruptions, and potential hazards.
2. Vehicle information
A service dedicated to entities conducting proceedings in cooperation with the Police. It will enable the transfer of vehicle data registered by the automatic number plate recognition system to the relevant County Police Headquarters, in compliance with security and data protection procedures.
At the same time, a public DRIS portal will operate, presenting up-to-date information on the road situation to the widest possible extent.
The Dynamic Road Information System is a comprehensive solution that will have a tangible impact on improving road traffic safety, enabling more efficient infrastructure management and better planning of road network development based on real traffic data.
T4B, responsible for the implementation of the project, brings experience in delivering advanced ITS systems and IT platforms for the public sector, supporting the Warmia and Mazury region on its path toward modern, intelligent mobility.
